Hotel:
ASIDIC's Fall 2008 meeting will be held at the Salem Waterfront Hotel , 225 Derby St., Salem, MA 01970. The hotel's website is http://www.salemwaterfronthotel.com. Airport Transportation:
The closest airport to the hotel is Boston Logan International Airport. The best way to get to Salem is by taxi, and the flat-rate fare for 1 to 4 persons is $44.20. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes. It is advisable to bring a printed copy of the directions from the airport to the hotel, in case the driver is unfamiliar with Salem.

Monday Evening Event:
On Monday evening, ASIDIC attendees and their guests will enjoy dinner and a visit to the  Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, the oldest continuously operating museum in America. Founded in 1799, the museum contains over 1.2 million art objects, including a complete Chinese house and two historic New England houses.
